Beautiful, striking Casa, completed in 2005, where you can enjoy peace and quiet at the foot of the Monchique Mountains. The spacious Casa has 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and is therefore suitable for a group of up to 14 people. The Casa is ideal for family reunions, wedding celebrations, holidays of groups of friends with children and group holidays for golfers. The Casa has an area of 400 m2 and the plot an area of 4900 m2!
Casa Monchique offers everything for a carefree holiday in the Algarve. The whole Casa is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped and lushly planted garden. On the various terraces there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sun. In addition, the garden also has shady and romantic seats. You will find a uniquely designed private swimming pool with adjoining ponds. Of course, there are plenty of sun loungers to relax on.
Bedrooms
You enter the Casa through the central hall on the ground floor. Here you find four bedrooms with each an ensuite bathroom (two with bath and two with shower). On the first floor you will find three more bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (one with bath and two with shower). One of these bedrooms has a covered terrace.
Kitchen
On the ground floor is the large kitchen which is equipped with all modern appliances. The kitchen has doors to the terrace with stunning views. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room with large dining table (14 pers.). On the first floor there is another kitchenette, very convenient!
Living room
The huge living room on the ground floor has a fireplace and enough seating for everyone. There is also a TV, DVD player, radio and CD player. On the second floor you will also find a living room.
Garden
On the main terrace you will find a large dining table and barbecue. As described before, the garden is very beautiful and large. You are free to pick the citrus fruits from the trees and make a bouquet of the beautiful flowers.

There is a pantry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. There is ample parking space at the Casa.
Around the house
The Casa is located at the foot of the beautiful Monchique Mountains on an estate that is covered with the most beautiful native plants and trees. The Romanesque village of Caldas de Monchique, a recognised health resort, is within walking distance.

A city you should definitely not miss during your stay is Portimão. It is traditionally a fishing town that flourished in the 19th and 20th century. You will find most of the restaurants along the river. Here you can eat "sardinha assada" (roasted sardines), the most famous dish of Portimão.
The Monchique Mountains are a true hiking paradise. It is located in a protected nature reserve, the Serra de Monchique, which is rich in flora and fauna. There are several routes to follow. Enjoy magnificent views 'on top of the Algarve'.

The rental price includes the use of wifi, water and electricity incl. washing of bed linen etc., maintenance of pool and garden. Not included is the use of central heating and wood for the fireplace. The rental price is calculated on the basis of the weekly price for 14 persons. If during your stay visitors stay overnight, there are costs involved. Please notify the owner upon arrival or during your stay.
Payment
When booking, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. The remaining amount must be paid, including the deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal. The reservation is only final after the deposit of 50%.
Deposit
This is if no damage has been caused by you within 7 days on your bank account returned, or if damage is possibly a part or all deducted, or additional payment of damage occurred required.
Cancellation
In case of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation fees will be charged:
a. for cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the down payment amount;
b. for cancellation as from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.
Arrival and departure
You can enter the villa after 16.00 hours in the afternoon and should leave the villa before 10.00 hours in the morning; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa. Liability HelloAlgarve / lessor(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents etc. during your stay in Portugal and in particular in and around Casa Monchique Ribeiro do Banho, whatever the circumstances.
